GWX Upgrade Fail

Am trying to install GWX Gold on Win7, have clean install of SH3 downloaded from Steam but keep getting errors stating various files have an unknown version number. How do I circumnavigate this issue? Some assistance please! :hmm2:

You can't be getting that message.
The installer does not check file versions.
It checks to see if some files exist or don't exist.
Make sure you guide GWX to the Steam folder.
