San Diego, i think the very first 688(i) sim from Sonalysts also started from there. Lots of interesting things to see there .. thanks again :)

Interesting those Hornets look like they are set up for long term storage. Must be a long term maintainence depot of dome sort. Looks like they are also chained to the tarmac.

couple of parts missing on one or two of em

well, the F/A's are on their way out of service - most of the airframes will have reached their certified lifetimes by now. It's an issue here in Canada as well, where our CF-188s are about to "expire" as well, and there's still a big question mark over their replacement.
