Hi,
sometime I post some kriegsmarine maps used on the "Project: Printable navigation charts of the SH3 worldby" (Karl Heinrich)

Now, I would upload the D. 2230 V-Tafel edit by Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine

This is the Secret manual used by German UBoote during ww2 to compute the optimal route in approaching vessels to be attacked.

It was composed by text instructions (attached) and tables (only few pics here)

My book was fot the Gothenhafen Uboot base use

For anyone interested, for purposes of the Wolfpack simulation I re-created this in Google sheets using scripts with push buttons. If anyone is interested please check it out. It is only valid for own speed of 18 kts, and all targets speeds down to 4 kts and a minimum distance of 9000 m.

The purpose of the original document was to tell commanders when to turn and by how many degrees to ensure a minimum distance to the target is maintained while overtaking.
