Many years ago I read about a woman who managed a fast-food place. At the end of the day she would put her receipts and cash in a fast-food box to take to the bank. I would normally have given a verbal warning but when asked where she lived, she replied "I'm not from this area and don't understand the road layouts around here".

On checking her licence she lived a little over a mile away.

Next day I took some witness statements to the admin floor for typing and was introduced to the new starter on the admin team....guess who it was :)
