NO ESCORT IN U-BOOT MISSIONS?
 

There are no Escort in Allied Convoys in U-Boot missions campaign.
It's Terrible this.
Someone can help me?

I have played U-boats plenty and there are sometimes no escorts especially on Trans-Atlantic routes but later on in the war there will be. Most escorts were closer to the continent.

My recommendation is to enjoy it while it lasts. If you are looking for easy tonnage, i've noticed that india is woefully unprotected early game.

The historical reason for the lack of escorts is the fact that the Japanese didn't use submarines for commerce warfare. So most of the escort ships would be in Europe to protect the convoys that by 1943 were heavily guarded from german u-boats.

You have to remember early in the war there were no decent ASW's and killer groups to hunt U-Boats. This is why it was called the Happy Time. For a U-Boat it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

U-Boats ruled the waves. Germany only lost 9 boats in 1939 out of 57 at sea. That was a lot of boats hunting surface ships as compared to 1944 where the loss was 249.

You should expect light to no escorts if your playing the German side in the early war. Operation Mosun is a great mod to add to your list if your running the German U-Boats.

I'M PLAYING TO KELTOS' IMPERIAL JAPANESE CAMPAIGN, WITH THE SUB MOD FOR ROOM, AND OTHER THINGS JAPANESES.
OFTEN ARE ESCORTED SINGLE GREAT SHIP.
BUT CONVOYS ARE LIKE SHEEP WITH A WOLF.

Most likely the mod your running does not model proper traffic.

You should run Operation Monsun for more realistic and better quality game play. The British escorts are far more tenacious than the Japanese are and will hound you for days at times. It will depend on their priority and how pissed off they are at you. I have had them leave me alone in 30 minutes and I have had them depth charge me for 2 days straight.

I have 2 or 3 version installed. 3 silent hunter.
one with Op. Monsun for European operations. (i love black sea campaign, and mediterranean, but also others like artic theatre, i must change some log file for play with XXIII and XXI from 44).
Another with japanese campaign of keltos (i like much this campaign, japanese sub are more similar to italian sub for some things, for this i like also, but there is a mod of grey wolves for sh3 that permit me to play with an italian sub) and another with TRIGGER MARU.
sometime i play also with baltic mod. but not like others.

Another request i have:
for give an emblem to American sub i know what i must do.
But it's not the same for U-Boot (or I-boat) campaign.
When i'm not playing to OMEGU, in SH4 vanilla, or to mod that use the vanilla (like IJN KELTOS MOD) what i must do for give a conning tower emblem to my subs?
