Greenhorn Moose here. Actually I've been playing around with sims for a while. I picked up the Janes Naval collection pack when I was in 3rd grade methinks... Didn't get serious about reading the actual tech manual/procedures until a couple of years ago. I think sims are unique given their level of complexity and the sense of glory and pride (or rather a complete illusion of...) that comes from doing something that somewhat resembles the real thing. Look forward to meeting SIM-ilar minded chaps here!

Oh I also posted a thread about a problem I'm having with Sub Command concerning a certain mission. If anyone is interested in taking a gander, help would be most appreciated.
