TEST AND MAX DEPTH MOD FOR BALAO-CLASS?

Hi everyone. I'm quite new to this forum and have only been playing SH4 for six days, although I have played SH and SH2 extensively over the years.
I was wondering if there is a stand-alone mod, or one that's in a set of mods that increases the test depth of the Balao-class subs to 400 ft and the crush depth to 900 ft as it was in real life. Please forgive me if one has been posted that I haven't found. The mods on this forum are seemingly endless.
Thanks very much. Oh, I almost forgot. I have the original game, not the 1.5 version, although I am thinking of downloading that from Amazon. Jeff

Welcome aboard! :salute:

I can't really suggest anything for an early version of the game. Most here use v1.5.

If you do upgrade to v1.5 (and you should), I would go with these:

RFB_2.0 ..............................(Real Fleet Boat)
RFB_2.0_Patch_23April2010
RSRDC_RFB_V575 ...............(Run Silent Run Deep Campaign)
RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1
Improved Ship Physics 2.15

They will make both your sub, and your game much more realistic, in many ways.

Thanks so much for these mod suggestions. I'll probably go for them when I download version 1.5. I'll need help for the mod installations, though. I'm kinda computer ignorant. I wouldn't know which files or folders to open and put the mods in.

Would it be too much trouble to ask you to assist me when I'm ready? Thanks a lot. Jeff
