No conning tower on tambour class?
 

Hey guys, I loaded up sh4 with a tambour class and the boat had no tower and I couldn't go onto the bridge. What's the problem?

Take out one mod and test, if problem continues take out another and so on until problem resolved.

hey, I did what u said, and its because of the small patch.

Edit: also this only happens when I start in pearl on April 15th 1942 in a tambor.

Hits avers over the head with a rubber chicken and says ... "Well don't do that"

Sorry, one of those mods must over-write a file in the 'small_patch'. I asked for feedback back in 2012 and this is the first report that I am aware of.

The 1st mod to overwrite the small patch is ,"RSRDC TMO V502",. Also, this bug is happening with any sub class that i choose if I start on April 15th, 1942 in subpac (the boats in task force 3/51/71 are fine, they have conning towers).

"RSRDC TMO V502" may have been made without considering small_patch.

Those two, Ducimus TMO & RSRD compared notes to be compatible as much as possible.

Ducimus was going to write a fix for TMO 2.5 and the TAMBOR 'upgrade' bug but was too burnt out at the time, so I made small_patch based on his vague recollection of what needed to be changed.

I hoped Ducimus would eventually make the fix but SH5 came out.

Hopefully "RSRDC TMO V502" fixes the TAMBOR 'upgrade' bug and small_patch isn't needed with that specific mod configuration.

Well I found that there's only one file that RSRDC tmo v502 overwrites, the flotillas.upc. I guess all I can do is not start a career in subpac on april 15th, 1942.

Same problem with Porpoise class when I try to Quick Missions.
