Re-enable AP Shells in GWX3.0
Hello i am new to the forums (and i mean in all forums so this is my first post in my life in a forum) and i want a little help. I have SH3 with GWX 3.0 an the warships mod, so i have this little problem that my guns does not have any AP shells,so how i can enable them?
P.S. Due to my little experiance in forums i am sorry from the beggining if am not posting this right or in the right place. P.S. 2 I know a little modding i have mod my mod a little to my liking so i will understand what i have to do. |

Welcome aboard. :sunny: GWX removes AP and AA shells, because historically they didn't use them. Merchants and destroyers have no armor. The smallest ship to carry armor is the light cruiser, and if you really want to take your 8.8cm gun up against six 6" (15cm) guns, be my guest. :D One of the first rules I learned is to always keep a copy of the stock game handy in a special folder so I can grab any unmodded files I might need in the future. I've forgotten how to restore the stock ammo files, but rest assured someone will be along soon with that information. |

I know about the historical accuracy i have made i research in the forum for my modding in the game and i have read it many times. The problem is that if you have a mighty Bismarck class with its 36520m gun that have been blown to pieces the HMS Hood and do not have AP shells to fight other BB's it is a little sad. I will wait but damn i am impatient to play i am modding, tweaking and testing it to my liking 4 days now (which is nothing compared to the real modders and i salute them for my renewal of my old game). PS i have made 5 different backups of the game and one in an external disc but thank you about the info |

Check the GUNS_SUB.sim file in the library folder.
GWX 3 sets the ammo amounts there. Not sure if the War ship mod changes anything there. |

And no this bloody image doesnt show its self, as you see the AP shells are loaded in the guns but the image for the selection is not, only the HE is visible

My guess would be something in the menu_1024_768.ini might be wrong.
I never looked at the Warship mod myself. |

Yes complete success. It was a little sneaking semicolon :/\\!!;:nope: in the menu_1024_768.ini that i wasnt see the previous times when i was searching it, if you remove it then the shells appear again. And now lets see the solution:
