Pearl Harbor 20 years later
I have been scanning my parents slides and came across these pictures taken in the summer of 1962 by my dad of the just opened USS Arizona Memorial and other Pearl Harbor related scenes.

Personal thanks for sharing those :sunny:
Not wishing to come across as being selfish but this date has more than one reason for being special to me with it being the fifth anniversary of my fathers passing. To Them All ~SALUTE~ |
Great pictures thank you August :salute::salute::salute:

Those are pretty cool and not faded. I would expect they were scanned from the negatives.

That particular one isn't available on amazon.ca, but they are available and range in price from about $60.oo +CDN (amazon) to about $30,000.oo (Henrys Camera in Toronto for a Hasselblad). I will have to wait until after the new year to get one and it will NOT be the Hasselblad. |
Looks like there was a lot more of the USS Utah above water in 1962 than there is today.
