I just read in a German newspaper that Christoph Waltz will play the evil guy in the upcoming Bond movie, "Spectre".

Craig versus Waltz. Fantastic! :D

Director will be Mendez again, who did "Skyfall", and who said that he will reflect events of Skyfall in the new movie. That was the best Bond movie I have seen so far, beside "Casino Royal".

Sounds all like a killer combo to me!

SPECTRE and its characters have been a bone of contention and the source of long-standing litigation starting back in 1961 between screenwriter Kevin McClory and Ian Fleming and the producers of the Bond Films. With McClory long dead and gone and his estate finally settled, looks like the producers have finally won in the end.

Possible that the news is not that new at all, but that I just missed to note it earlier. They already start shooting the movie on Monday, so the cast must have been fixed since long before.

Excited about this, Waltz is so excellent, he could turn a pile of dung into something watchable... just take Inglorious Basterds as an example. :D
