It's out a new episode of Star Trek phase 2, a fan series made by fans and for every one!

In terms of fan base, this is not so bad! Far better than abramtrek!

It was very good and I know fan film stuff can be hard to watch at times, especially when recreating well known characters, but they pulled it off.

Was there a budget for the making?

Absolutely. It's quite expensive just putting replica sets together, the props to fill the sets, the uniforms, and the hand props.

Plus the worth of the currency in 66-69 and then now!

I think the site forum have that information and the series have the suport of producers and staff members of TOS, it is semi-canon almost.
