Dirty deeds, done dirt cheap

Apparently, Phil Rudd, The drummer of AC/DC was arrested for trying to hire a hit man. .

A case of Art intimidating Life I guess. I wonder what he intended the guy to use?

Cyanide?

TNT?

Concrete shoes? :O:

If these guy manage to go on tour, I'm going to find a way to go. Malcolm is in poor health. Could be the last hoorah.:salute:

Your link, that was mean. From the bass guitar player's perspective, because that is what I am, we (the bass players union) used to say that a "drilled monkey" could do the part of the bass player in this band. But to be honest, I don't think that this does this band justice. Because you know:

AC/DC - Hells Bells

The question in my mind (given my probably mistaken image of New Zealand) is who do you turn to there to request a hit-- Sméagol?, Gandalf "Greasy Thumbs" Gandofini? Frodo's mobbed-up brother Guido? :O:

This Rudd fella, he's Australian isn't he? I've watched the news and they said to be Australian is to be part of some religous cult.

I'm thinking boots on the ground and take these Australian weirdos out.

But what about the moderate Australians? Surely they had nothing to do with this. They're to busy waltzing with Matilda and hunting drop bears.

We don't hunt drop bears. We breed them, and set them loose on unsuspecting tourists.

Edit to add. Charges have been dropped.

Prosecutor forgot to get the evidence.

FLASH: this latest update; murder-for-hire beef dropped... "
Mr Rudd's lawyer, Paul Mabey, said the "charge alleging an attempt to procure murder should never have been laid".
He added that Mr Rudd had suffered "incalculable" damage from the publicity surrounding the allegation and its sensational reporting, and would consider "any possible remedies he may have".
He described the drug charges as "minor" offences and said the musician would defend the charge of making threats to kill, which carries a maximum sentence of seven years in jail." http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-29947289

AC/DC today is possibly bigger than they were at their peak, catering to the redneck market and being extremely successful with a group of people who traditionally don't like anything that isn't from Nashville.
:har:

Somewhere on the net there's an Aussie radio show video where this 'redneck' from the Outback identifies the AC/DC song, but to win the prize, he has to spell 'AC/DC'.
This guy then proceeds to completely "$%£$%^ it up, such that the radio jocks are besides themselves.. it's jaw dropping stuff and goes on for at least a minute.
But the best was that the 'Redneck' was so gracious in not winning the prize - a true gentleman.
:)
