It seems to be the nose :O:. They say it is solid. Solid in that invironment? Might be a bit too warm for staying solid... |
A Star Destroyer?

Likely it's just a solar prominence like this one from about two years ago, which the panic-at-everything-we-don't-understand community determined back then was a giant UFO sucking our sun dry for fuel through a giant umbilical cord.
http://i.livescience.com/images/i/00...png?1331674258 I, for one, welcome our new sun-sucking overlords. :D |
The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus. :D

You don't say!

If you believ in UFO's you see a UFO.
I don't know what it is. Markus |
It is quite obviously a Vauxhall Velox 4-Door Saloon with an anaconda trying to swallow one wheel one wheel emerging from an intergalactic wormhole. What else could it be?

"Hi, Andy: remember me?"
Hey, Andy! I think it looks a bit like this little guy; remember him?http://i.imgur.com/koBUA8o.png?1

PS/ For those of you who are about to eat breakfast, he's a BLOBFISH, something AdyJWest caught in the river Medway last year...

There was a SciFi short story a long time ago, don't know if from A.E. van Vogt (? not sure, can be someone else), where a civilization living in/on stars made trips to other suns, but being almost blind to those ice cold lumps of matter circling around their sun-habitats.
Theme was that one of their ships accidentally rammed the earth, and how this would look like, seen by human eyes. The ship in this story was much smaller though .. Sought for this story for some years, so if anyone remembers name or author ? |
