Just a question about time

Using the ME to examine a mission/battle, one can determine the location (long&lat) of ships relative to the time, meaning day, hour, minute. My question is what is the base for those times displayed in ME?
Switching to playing a patrol, and trying to be at those Long/lats, at the times learned from ME, how do your patrol times compare to the ME's time?

I don't know the answer to your questions sorry to say. Never used the ME.

But in a way it's almost like you're the Hypo unit about to deliver your first Ultra with noon positions :).

The base for time is relative.

I just have to ask, eh, relative to what?

It's a science joke.

In the ME you specify time and date of starts. Following the counter and watching ship movement during that time will show you where you would have to be at a certain date and time.

Aside from the science joke, I get the explanation. But, assuming my "patrol time" as being the same relative to the ME missions time, I have been unsuccessful in intercepting the Coral Sea IJN task force as it rounds San Cristobal and cannot figure out why, especially since others have accomplished this. So, I thought it might be a "time problem" as I've been right on the IJN path at the times from the ME.
I just hate not being able to figure this out!:timeout:
