Brest Harbour ships
 

Fellow Kaptains,have just returned to the U-Boot arm after medical problems and leave.I have a PC with Windows 7 and have installed SH3 and SH Commader on C drive.I have JSGME and Commander and also SH World.When I played before,on my old XP machine,whenever I entered or departed Brest Harbour,there was lots of Destroyers,Schnellboots and Q ships.And also Bismark or other Capital ships around.But this time nothing !!I think the mod is SH3 World that provided this but am at a loss.Can any of you more seasoned Kaptains help me on this.Danke and good hunting

Both GWX and LSH3 populate the harbors very nicely. :sunny:

Welcome back Ray! SH3 World, now that is an old mod. I haven't seen, or heard any mention of it in years. Your problem could be related to where you installed SH3 on your Windows 7 machine. If you installed to the default location C:/Program Files (x86), the Windows file protection system in Windows 7 plays havoc with adding/changing game files, thus mods do not work right. What I've done to get around this is add a folder to the C;/ drive with the name Ubisoft, then point the game installer to that location for the install. By doing this the Windows file protection system does not come into play, and mods work as they should.

HW3.I've installed SH3 onto C/ Ubisoft/Silenthunter3 and also SH3 Commander onto C drive.I'll persevere gentlemen.Thank you for all your hard work in keeping these forum's happy.
