Steel Edition and Mediterranean expansion?

Good evening!

Since I can't run Merchant Fleet Mod (the game loads up to 90% then crashes - don't know why :( ), I run across SH3 Steel Edition (never heard of it), and SH3 Mediterranean expansion pack (heard of it, never tried).

Anyone tried these two? And how do u rate it? Worth of buying / downloading?

The reason is simple, kinda bored with engaging always same merchant ships. The Merc. Fleet looks like a proper solution, but i can't run it. So maybe those two packs/editions can offer something new?

Thanks!

Hoti

Word of advice if you see an expansion pack for sale DONT BUY IT! There usaly a rip off of mods the community made. I can tell you for a fact that the Med exp pack was a rip off of The Grey Wolfs mod (1st gen GWX) As for the CTD try downloading the 4 gig aplaction. It allows SHIII to use the entirety of your RAM. Theres a link to it in the living SHIII mod post.
