One of the most amazing feats in chess history just happened, and no one noticed.
I know we have a lot of chess guys here. Last time I heard about chess, Kasparov was still the reigning world champ of about 80 years or so. It looks like there are some young new champions in the making.

Hehehe...
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ighlight=chess At least one guy noticed it... And you indeed are a bit behind scheduling. :D Kasparow hasn'T been ruling champion since years now, having left chess . Anand became the next champion, and then Carlsen late last year (who was trained by Kasparov for some time, but somewhat rebelled against him and so their paths separated). --> http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ighlight=chess :salute: P.S. I only add to that old thread that on earlier occasions Carlsen repeatedly defeated Caruana, and clearly. |
I'm still of the opinion that the strongest collection of talent in the room was Bobby Fischer-by himself! Too bad he's not around to play against young Carlsen...:hmph: required reading...still IMHO: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...rableGames.jpg

I am shocked that Carlson would not talk to a free-lance writer from Slate.
Does he not know the reputation of Slate??? Perhaps he does. :D |
