Westboro Baptist Church planning to protest Robin Williams' funeral
Well these clowns are in the news again for planning to protest the funeral of actor Robin Williams all because he played a gay person in the film The Birdcage.

Well if the funeral is anywhere near where he lived the WBC will likely get more LBGT loving than they can handle. Where's a good sink hole when you need one.
|
Disgusting and revolting. But if they do it in accordance to the law, then that is their right.
There is freedom of speech and association even for people I despise. :yep: |

Send the Village People to perform YMCA right in the middle of them. I like the sinkhole idea too:up: |
Out of all the funerals they announce they are going to protest, how many do they actually show up at?

Let them!
All they want is attention and the worst thing we all can do is to rage about how outraging this act is, or would be. My first reaction was exactly this. Anger and pure hate. All they want. Do we want to give them what they want? I sure don't. So let's just remember one more moment where Robin made us laugh or tear up, instead of wasting our time and energy to rage over these lost, pitiful souls. You know the drill gents: Don't. Feed. The trolls. |
Or what? The WBC reality show? I shudder to contemplate.
|
So sad this will probably do the movement more harm than good, not that I reckon they'll get anywhere near the actual service.
Nothing more than attention whores and certainly not what Robin deserves. |
There's a down side to Freedom of religion, free speech and freedom of assembly. These folks are proof of that.
If they don't wish to pay respects to the deceased and offer condolences to the family, then they would be better served by staying home and blogging their hate mongering campaign onto the deaf internet. If they do manage to carry out their threat, Jesus will probably personally strike their names from The Book of Life. I can only pray for them to be forgiven for their actions because they don't have a clue what they're doing in the name of God. |
These people annoy me.

Looks like the Westboro Whacko's are a bit out of luck, although I would still like to see them protest on the Bay: perhaps they would sink out of sight and the Bay's sharks could enjoy a meal... <O> |
