Struck by lightning?

So of course during stormy weather you see cool lightning bolts from time to time.

I was wondering, is it save for the bridge crew in such weather? Are they at risk of being struck by lightning? I would think so.

Aloha, Maillemaker,

In real life, standing on the bridge in a lightning storm would have been risky indeed. Diving would have been the smarter option. However in-game, our lookouts are Übermenschen. They cannot be electrocuted or drowned, only gunfire or bombs can hurt them. The product of years of super-soldier research!

Is lightening a default of GWX 3? I have not seen it yet in any storms.

Also, I sometimes find the weather, what i THINK (though I am no sailor so what the hell do I know), uncharacteristically calm for long amounts of time even on the open atlantic

If lightning melts a letter 'C', it means you'll rule the Roman Empire someday :yep:

I don't know if it has anything to do with GWX or not, but yes, you will see lightning and hear thunder in storms. The lightning will actually light up objects (like ships), too.

...lightening is a real treat when you see it.
but I can only imagine that metal boats, water and a conning tower full of living human flesh don't mix too good - unless you wanna bbq:o
