midway mod request
 

Hello I was wondering if someone here could make the balao class available for 1941-1945 and midway available along with it so i dont have to start in 1944 when all the targets are virtually gone thanks I would appreciate anyone that could make this available.

there already is a midway start point mod for the game, I think there is also a pre pearl harbor start mod too

as for the balao I think you just need to edit the cfg files starting dates but there might be more to it then that, im not sure

I believe you should be able to just change that in the Flotillas.upc file

Ok but I'm not good at that part of modding I'm good at sound files if there is anyone here that can make the balao class available for midway island in 1941 that would be a huge help as I said before im not good at this sort of thing so im asking for help thanks for the guidance though.

these are text files you simply open with windows notepad and type in the changes you want, its as easy as posting your request.

if you start a post asking how and where the changes need to be made then members here will gladly teach you everything you need to know.

sound editing is very hard compared to text editing so why not take this opportunity to learn something new and you will find all sorts of things you can do to the game you never thought of before.

Hi its not working i did what you said and when i go to start a career the balao isnt available until 1944 can you tell me what im doing wrong im not good at this.

Hello anyone that can help me right now im using the midway career mod and all I want to do is to start with a balao class submarine from midway in 1941 i changed the upc flotilla file where balao starting date to NULL,NULL and when I try and start a career the balao still isnt available until 1944 please give me some guidance on how to proceed this is very frustrating.
