hard drives and cpu
 

Hey all bought another harddrive for my pc.and would like to know if you can run silent hunter from a drive without a operating sysem on it.C drive is operating system and F is empty would like to put game on F is it possible?hope i have put this on right foreum if not i appologize,

also i have a amd 970 4 core installed would going to a 6 or eight core amd be of a worthwile boost to this system.or would a gpu be more in order.flight sims,sub,stategy games mostly.and aircraft modeling tool cant remember name.plan on learning to do sub modeling hopefully,thanks for any help.

- Sure. Just install it to the other drive.

- Multiple cores are pretty pointless for gaming. Even now core speed is still more important than number.
