Got Immersion?
Here are two items I use to help with in game immersion: The first, is a replica IS/WAS, comparable to the type actually used.
The two sides of the instrument: http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...tml?sort=3&o=9 http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...tml?sort=3&o=8 The next item, is actually a download of the Japanese Merchant Ship Recognition Manual that I printed out, and placed in a landscape style binder. Although not totally useful in game, it does give a sense of what it took to identify ships. Index guides broke down the different characteristics of the ships to aid in identification. Here are a few pics of my creation: The cover page needed to be touched up with a gold artist pen since it copied too dark. Excuse the reflection of yours truly in the pic:03: http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=17 Here are a few photos of the contents, including index pages, and funnel markings: http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=11 http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=10 http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=13 http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=12 http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=14 http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=15 http://s260.photobucket.com/user/Fis...ml?sort=3&o=16 |
