Moon-lit nights?
Hi guys,
Are moon-lit nights with no clouds and a full sky of stars and full moon supposed to be near impossible to operate in? Under those conditions I literally cannot see enemy ships with either the attack periscope or UZO until its practically on top of me, under 1000m. Is this normal? Should I just wait for dawn before trying to attempt anything under those conditions? ModList: Code:

Hey Tindahbawx,
It shouldn't be impossible. Uboats preferred to sink targets under the cover of night. Daylight, especially with the new mod updates, is dangerous. I've seen some nights myself where it was difficult to see the targets, but that's not the norm. I don't play hardcore like the others, and have often wondered how they manage to even identify a ship's flag in such darkness. Masters of the deep, they are, says Yoda! :D With a full moon and stars, it's beyond me as well why you can't see anything. Those conditions, with your target between you and the moon, would normally be optimal. How about your monitor? Do you have your gamma and brightness set properly? Are they set too low maybe? :hmmm: Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell ya. |
Try a moonlight mod
Several to choose from Failing that, notch your gamma setting a touch to the right |

I assume that this will presumably affect enemy ships vision of me too? I think I downloaded the Sober Moonlight mod. |
Hiya,
Dload and install TDW's Generic Patcher There's a few parts in that to allow visibility according to weather etc |
