Google translate didn't do so well for me, but I know we have a couple around here somewhere who can.

Well, with that digger on deck, maybe he forgot which vehicle he was actually driving

Jeg er full, har du ikke en unnskyldning!

That's supposed to be Norwegian for "I'm drunk, you don't have an excuse!"

Mountain seems ok. Boat sails away. I call it a draw. :O:

This is my second language so it comes naturally to me and therefore I can use google translate and get it somehow right

Here's what it says

"Roar Kjølås employed at the Inlet Salmon fish farm at Fausa in Storfjorden could not believe his eyes as a self-unloading Friday noon, swept past close the farm, heading directly toward a precipice. Kjølås immediately grabbed his cell phone to film the episode.

In the video below, published by the Norwegian TV2, you can see - and hear - what happened thereafter."

You have translated this correctly
"Norwegian police are investigating the accident and suspect that the ship's captain had fallen asleep at the helm"

Lucky it seems to have ended well: it could have been a titanic error...

<O>

"No, sir, actually we were testing the ram on the bow."

Yeah, that's the ticket!

TorpX 05-31-14 10:43 PM

Surprised there wasn't some crumpling at the bow.

If I sold or manufactured that ship, I'd buy the video and use it in an advertising campaign: "...our ships are ram-tough..." or something like that.

Looked like the tip of that bulbous bow was flattened.

Well, proof of the pudding comes 4 to 8 hours later, just like in SH3 GWX/NYGM.

All this proves is that it has strong engines.

fireftr18 06-01-14 01:49 PM

I'm no expert, but I will say that running a ship into a mountainside just might be a little hard on her. :hmmm:
Vienna, it couldn't have been a titanic error, there's no iceberg. :D

Platapus 06-02-14 07:05 PM

Typical of a mountain. They never seem to get out of your way. Pompous mountains. :nope:
