Hull integrity display

Since installing gwx I have sorely missed my hull integrity percentage displayed in the damage and crew management screen. I was wondering if there is a simple way to get it back. Which .cfg file or other file is the setting written in. I have sh3editor which I can use if I need it. I feel a commander would know what his hull integrity would be like in rl after damage but its hard to guess in game.

GWX removes this from SH3 by eliminating the text on line 589 of /SilentHunterIII/Data/Menu/en_menu.txt
GWX version = 589

To get it back, edit line 589 to return it to the stock SH3 version
SH3 version = 589=HULL INTEGRITY %s %

If you're using SH3 Commander there should be an option to have the integrity displayed.

While it will provide you with information, in RL a Skipper may only have vague idea of the damage the boat maybe taking to the hull. I don't use it, so it adds a little extra uncertainty when all heck is raining down.

I have long been a fan of h.sie's Colored Hull Integrity mod. It replaces the indicator with a bar showing four possible colors, which give a fair idea of what's going on but removes the absolute certainty. I find it to be a great compromise.

I've just put it up here at Subsim Downloads.
