periscope rectangles off set
I'm not able to resolve this , my periscope rectangle is off set with widescreen mods.
I tried several ones but all with the same results. Mods GWX 3.0 GWX 16 KM atmosphere FM_newInterior v 2.1D Widescreen GWX 3.0 Thats about it for the moment, could use a little help. Edit: same goes for deckgun, binoculair etc Edit2 : pic http://home.planet.nl/~hart0751/images/sh3ret.jpg |
My guess is the widescreen mod.
|
I always get this after installing FM interior until I install one of the "FM fixes". There is one for OLC, one for ACM, one for Magui.
Not sure about a generic one. I'll have to search my hard drive. |
Are you using the SH3 Commander's malfunction / sabotage option? If yes , that is your answer.

Check any file that modified the cameras.dat
That one is the culprit of your graticles being offset :ping: |
The D3D..dll file used for widescreeen shifts the drawing area. If the images are not made to the new screen res, or shifted, you get this result.
Also that reticule image is your Uzo screen?, which is close to screen centre. I think the LH vertical reticule line is hard coded. |
I gave up, I play in windowed mode atm without widescreen mod.
The monitor I have can't change the aspect ratio ( which is strange 'cos the monitor I had before had no problem with that ..... but the cat found it necessary to pee on it and ruined the screen :nope: ). Gonna look for alternative monitor to play full screen. |

The very next patrol, my type VIIC was labouring along at 6 knots with engines ahead 1/3. I'm guessing that was another malfunction. Obviously a Friday Afternoon Submarine.... |
Fixed at my liking after some experimenting with another monitor, I've changed my desktop res to 1440x900 and can play full screen with black bars on the sides which I don't mind.
At last no stretched screen anymore  |
