New Submarine
 

Hi, I'm looking to add an Ohio class submarine to the game, I am aware that the game is completely different from silent hunter 4 but my idea is some what similar.

We're all very aware that the game allows the player to freely move through the interior of the submarine, this is the biggest and most difficult thing to combat in terms of adding a new playable submarine. Also I'm fully aware that there is also an exterior also but this I hope wont be that difficult to achieve.

My idea is simple, take the hull of the Ohio class and replace it like they did in Silent Hunter 4 with the original hull. There fore leaving a working interior to work with, my idea is to limit the walk-ability to just the interior of the submarine seeing as a patrol in the Ohio class or any other nuclear submarine for that matter is carried out entirely under water therefore cutting out the need to stretch ones legs on deck. Obviously the ability to view the exterior will be ever present with the use of the camera.

I would like Ideas on how to accomplish this, or if someone has begun to look into a project like this then maybe we can start a project everyone can get involved with.

Any form of "New Submarine" is out of the picture for the foreseeable future based on the current situation.
