3d modeling 40mm woes
 

So I ended up downloading Wings 3d to give 3d modeling a try. I want to replace the very poorly modeled 40mm quad with two nicely modeled 40mm twins, but every time I try to delete any major section of the model, the whole thing disappears. There is no 'copy and paste' so I can't just pick and choose stuff to replace. At a minimum I need to model the spiderweb sight on the 40mm quad in order to have some sort of aiming. Anyone with some 3d modeling experience want to lend a hand?
