US Navy reveals dozens of rare photos.
The U.S. Navy published a series of glass-plate photographs from the Spanish-American War, after the rare find was rediscovered this year.

Interesting photos. The crews caps were not the best looking. It is interesting to see how bow shape changed since then, as well as, gun placement on warships drafted later. Capt Geary's steed looks a bit small compared to the saddle and surround people as well as the Capt in the saddle. Beats walking!

Thanks for sharing! Wery interesting photos - for us in Russia that conflict was quite an exotic - our country had it's own "little victorious war" six years later (with Japan in 1904-1905 I mean) and by the way it went, I think it would be better if our navy staff learned something from Spanish-American War before Japanese attack.
