Unlimited

This will seem extremely basic, but all the years I've played GWX what exactly does "unlimited" mean when choosing sonar, coatings, etc. ??:hmmm: The gwx manual doesn't cover these topics, unless I've totally missed it and have been just too lazy by not just selecting them and figuring 'em out. As one gets older, the learning curve goes into a uncontrolled dive with very little high pressure air left. Thank you for your help!

I'm not sure what you mean, can you be a little more specific or add a screenshot maybe?

I checked. It's while your in port, career mode, on the screen where you select which equipment you want to upgrade. Example: Type IXC, the radar, radar warning, sonar, bold, and coating will, besides the regular options, allow you to pick "unlimited" without any explanation of what it will do. Odd. The Type VII is just the coating if I remember correctly. I MOD responsibly, but I wonder if it's part of a MOD I don't know about. This is no big deal, no bad effect, since I don't select it. Just throwing it out there and I appreciate your response. Thanks!

I think the best is to just ignore it.

It simply means 'None' as in none of the options have been installed or used.
