[GWX] Problem with switching from Type II to Type VII

Hi,

After a really long time I came back to SH3 and GWX and started a nice career in 1st flotilla in Kiel in 1939 at the beginning of the war. After five patrols in March 1940 I now have enough renown (a bit over 2600) to swith to a Type VII B boat in time for the Norwegian offensive. However when I transfer to either 2nd (Wilhelmshaven) or 7th/13.th flotilla (Kiel) I don't get an option for a Type VII boat. It isn't displayed on the uboat screen. In 2nd flotilla I could change to a Type IX B (which I do not want and which I do not have enough renown for anyway), while in 7th/13th flotilla no uboat Type is shown at all. I get access to all the available updates and torpedoes etc, but switching to a Type VII is not possible.

I tried the following approaches:
- Created a second career in 1939, started a patrol, docked again right away and applied for transfer to the other flotillas. Same thing.
- I deactived all other Mods and tried with a vanilla GWX installation. Nothing.

Any suggestions? Is that a known bug?
Thanks

Woof

Have no idea what the problem is, but still, here's a bump for you.

Check the Flotilla.cfg and fix it.

If your using SH3 Commander you will also need the cfg file for that.

@Alex: Thanks a lot for the bump :)
@Padi: The flotilla.cfg seems to be all right. Checked it through and couldn't find an error. If I start a career in 1939 or 1940 I can start with a Type VII B (SH3 Commander or not) however I still cannot swith to one.
@Jimbuna: I didn't know there was a flotilla.cfg file for SH3 Commander. The u-boat availability.cfg file seems to give the correct dates.

Thanks for the quick answers to all of you.
By now I have resorted to editing my Career.cfg and patrol.cfg files and gave myself a Typ VII B while deducting the renown. Worked too, but was definitely a lot more work as those files are not as straightforward as they seemed at first and it took several tries until it worked. :-)
