Israeli startup revolutionising battery technology?

Saw it in German newspaper. There they said they use nano-particles on the elctrodes. The battery of a cellphone charges in 30 seconds. Although being optimised for use in Samsung Galaxy cellphones, Samsung refused to fund the project, and a Chinese investor took their place then, wanting to use the batteries for his own product line. No surprises there then (Chinese investor).

They aren't stupid, that's for sure. Lots of exciting innovation coming from that little country. Recently there were news that they had developed a straw you could put into your drink that would change colour if someone put something in the drink.

Who was first ?
http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/05/22/...phone-charger/ And MIT invented a type of battery with NANO technologies (Can't find the link, was from about same time) This battery could store up to thousand more capacity than ordinary battery. Markus |
^ but this is about charging a usual battery in a few minutes, instead of hours ! :hmmm:
