Well i read about this case, and while i really think this murderer belongs to an especially low form of life, i cannot help to get the expression he must be bad because he happened to kill a soldier (?)
:hmmm:

He declares that he is a soldier of some guy named allah and he kills a soldier on that soldiers' home ground. He should be hung as a spy. Him and his accomplice.

He chose to do that as statement for justified murder but i don't think it would look any "better" if it was just a random person.
But hey...the guy is warrior of Allah now , if he killed random guy he would be terrorist...
We see here achievement of western educational system:haha::doh:
He was a British citizen , no?

Why should they give the scum what they want?

Keep them alive in prison for as long as is possible.

swamprat69er 04-08-14 11:04 AM

They are just pissing what little money they have down the toilet keeping these two alive.

And how much would it cost to change all the relevant laws, redo all the affected treaties, go through all the appeals against the new laws, go through a new trial with the new laws, then go through all the resultant appeals against the new punishment if a court actually delivers that verdict?

Seems like it would be pissing a whole lot more money down the toilet doesn't it.

But what about the other angle?
"Why should they give the scum what they want?"
They made it very clear their aim was to get killed by the state.

swamprat69er 04-08-14 11:22 AM

I don't know what it costs in Britain to keep a prisoner in jail but the yearly cost here in Canada is about $100,000.oo/prisoner. Save a couple of hundred Grand and off them. The world would be better off without them. Scum like this don't deserve to live.

So you think murder is right?

Oberon 04-08-14 11:42 AM

So, basically, you want to give them exactly what they want? Martyrdom? Rather than just put them in prison and have the whole world forget about them until somewhere down the line they die alone in a cell.
Much better to kill them, with a big media crowd so that they're never forgotten. :yep:
