Op Monsun crashing.
 

I keep trying to start a campaign with the VIIC but every time I do it starts up fine and loads into the world fine, but when I try to view the outside world it crashes, so I can't go to the periscope, the conning tower or the free camera for some reason or it freezes and CTD's.

But when I start a campaign at the start with a IIB I think it is, it works just fine.

Are you also using OMEGU? There have been reports of CTD problems with that addition.

Yes, I am using Omegu. It seems to only be when I start at certain ports. When I start at Kiel it's fine, but a couple other ports I tired crashed.

Almost all crashes I had were related to sound mods. OMEGU introduces sounds, OM does not.

A simply test is to backup all sound files from the vanilla game, and to overwrite everything with the default files if there is a problem. At one point in the past I could establish that my crashes were gone afterwards, and I could then reduce my sound mods to a minimum. I have no crashes since then.

I also reduced sound to "no acceleration" in DxDiag, since I saw this as a recommendation in the past.

I have ran OM and OMEGU without an issue at all.
