Little question about Gold Edition.
 

What is the difference of the Gold Edition between Steam version Collectors Edition?

I heard about the steam version sh5 is not modable with generic patcher.

And, I heard the Gold Edition is some kinds of collectors edition too.


So....

Generic patcher don't work with Gold Edition? (Gold Edition is not steam version, it is uplay version.)

I'm little confused, because I bought that gold edition. :wah:

I read it, but I'm not well understood about that thread.

(Cuz, i'm not good at english)

Is that thread says 'Uplay Downloadable Sh5 Gold edition' is not same with 'Steam version collectors edition'?

I did downloaded a Uplay version from Gamersgate and I thought that it is net a Steam version , but I had problems like CTD when installed the TDW generic patcher .
My advice for you is to buy the dvd , so you won t have any problems . I waited for mine like two weeks , but now I just focus my energy on learning how to play the game and not on how to instal it .

I had same problems aobut, generic patcher.
I works, but causes ctd.
That makes me wonder about gold edition.
