Loading Screen Question...
Hi folks,
How do you resize ( smaller ) or move the below circled image to another location of the loading screen? I have a new loading screen I want to add, but the current loading graphics are in the way, namely the one below. I have played around with it a bit but no luck yet. Thanks. http://s28.postimg.org/4ngwio6hp/Intro_logo_elem2.jpg |
I'm pretty sure the load screen make-up can be found in the "menu_1024_768.ini" file.

I did it another way. I cut the above out and pasted it onto my new loading screen. Worked fine and looks ok :yep:

I searched through the "menu_1024_768.ini" file and found nothing!! If the image in question....."Intro_logo_elem.dds" was going to be used through the menu_1024_768.ini file, it would have been found under the line.....Mat 0=data/menu/loading/Intro_logo_elem.dds No such line in the file. So, the "menu_1024..." file doesn't make up the game's load screen. I'm surprised it doesn't, but it looks like you found a way around it anyway. |
Thanks CS.
Yes, I looked at the menu file and did not see anything, and as you did I thought that would be it. I found a workaround for now, but would like to find out where that loading make-up is as far as positioning, etc. I just did some cutting and pasting and file conversions. The UBI Logo shows up in the bottom right corner in the below, the loading bar in the bottom middle. She's a beauty :yep: I found the pic on the internet, Treveller used it for one of his mods as well. Paint.Net is a great little program. I have a few others as well. http://s22.postimg.org/8rg83ryg1/Clipboard01.jpg |

Loading Screen Question...
There are some great retro posters on the internet. Just need to be resized and converted to .dds files. Yeah, she is quite a sight : )

I swear that gall is in one of Travellers loading screens for his mod.
