Kim Dot Com
A very quick summary;
This guy is polarising my country, and is currently fighting extradition from my country, New Zealand, to the USA. I'd like to reach out to my american friends here and ask some questions of you collectivly. (If your German please see below) Firstly, how many know who Kim dot Com is, and what he's charged with? Secondly, what is the weight of main stream media coverage he is getting nationally and or locally(state wide??), and how much background info did they provide on him?? Thirdly, what is the general concensus as to his innocence in a percentage. If this all seems a little vague, it's intentional, as i hope to not bias any answers or opinions. This is also why i humbly ask any of our german friends to refrain from commenting.... just for now:03: I understand i'm small fish here, so any and all answers will be greatly appreciated:up: KDRX |
I can answer you questions very easy. I have no idea who "Kim Dot Com" is. There is absolutely no news coverage.

Sounds more like a North Korean website to me.:)
Other than that, nada, zilch, zero, the big boopkiss, wouldn't know the guy if he walked right past me.:ping: |

Here in the UK he had quite a bit of coverage when Mega-whatever-it-was was taken down in style, and the BBC kindly gave him some more when I started again with his latest Mega-whatever-it-is, but nothing more recently about the US wanting to extradite him apart from a little bit in Feb regarding the legality of the raid.
As long as Dotcom (no space) doesn't go in to making glove puppets he'll be alright. This one below is rubbish. :03: http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/image..._172531065.jpg |
To clear up some of the confusion: That Mega-something and Kim dot Com stuff is about filesharing sites. No further comments as that is all I know about it. But if you are interested, atleast Wiki has a fair size page on him:

There was a long piece about him om the TV newsmagazine "60 Minutes" here in the US some months ago. If you go to YouTube, there are a number of videos about him...

Ok, thanks for your replies. It seems some people think i'm asking for info on kim dot com, thats not my intention as you'll soon discover. Rememeber, i asked for what the american feel of the topic was, you are the guys who's tax is paying for this ,along side our tax doller of course:shifty:.
Who is he and why am i interested? kim dot com, (crim dot kom, king dot kong) is attempting to buy politicians and manipulate our political system to, in summary, change our system or position himself to avoid extradition to the US. He is the multimillionaire German man behind "mega upload", and also the worlds best call of duty player, self proclaimed dj and so called "good guy" He has, with varying results, attempted to buy the public and is now working on the politicians. As i mentioned previously, it is polarising our country. ...more later KDRX |
Hang on a minute. I've not heard that Australia had decided to sell New Zealand. :O:

Ah yes our southern two headed cousins. Forgot about the 3rd island. Just tell Kim to Bugger off back to Deutschland. Problem solved.
