http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2014-0...es-win/5339650
Two opening games for the Dodgers and the Diamondbacks held at the Sydney Cricket Ground over the weekend. Saw quite a few fans going out to the ballgame yesterday. Hope to see some more games held down here. Over to you America... |

Aussies doing the MLB thread?
It's a madhouse! What's next, McBees doing aussie rules football, or dare I say, a cricket thread? |
Go for it. :D
|
What about mericans playing baseball on our hallowed cricket ground turf? We should get a test match played at Yankee stadium between Pakistan and India.

We've got to take it out on somebody. |
You know, of all the "footballs", I actually think I enjoy aussie rules the most *ducks*
|
isn't aussie rules just a bastardization of gaelic football?
i heard aussie Murry Olds (spelling?) on radio sport, saying that MLB in aussie went down like the Hindenburg. I'm not surprised, baseballs natural equivelant down under is called cricket, and they're good at it too. Mind you, im surprised soccer has taken off so well in the states. |

There is a reason why they are on convict island. They sodomized gaelic football. That explains a lot. |
No Aussie rules is s bastardised version of and ancient aboriginal game called kick the wombat.
It's. The rugger buggers in all black that are into sodomy, playing catchme bonkme. The MLB was actually well attended and covered over here but I don't see it catching the same popularity as cricket or footy. |
So when are you coming to the states for a game or two? Seattle or San Diego?:hmmm:
|
I know it's still early, but have the Twins lost 100 games yet?
|
be carefull mocking my beloved all blacks:D rugby is our official religion here remember.
I did hear on radio sport today that they want to speed up MLB to attract the 18 to 50 year old demographic?! if not them, who the hells been watchin it then?? i think the team mentioned was the marlins? KDRX |
