Anyone have SH4 Patrol Map 1.3 for Google Earth/Maps

The copy here appears corrupted, can't open it once downloaded, and half the time it triggers a "connection reset" when I try. (other files download fine)

The author doesn't appear to be around at the moment.... :( :wah:

Must be a browser or extractor program issue on your end. Because downloading it with my Opera browser and using 7-zip v9.2 to extract works fine.

Firefox and WinZip... *shrug*

Just tried with my tablet, fail. Can't open archive.

Just for laughs I installed Opera and when I click to download it I get...

No data received

Unable to load the webpage because the server sent no data.

So......

Haven't tried installing yet, but FireFox 27.0.1 downloads in a few seconds (and I got a real slooooo-o-o-o-w DSL connection) and opens with WinZip 9.0 just fine here. Firewall maybe? Try running SpyBot to see if you got spyware/adware?

Not via pc, nor tablet. Any chance you connect via wifi in your network? Try connecting with a cable. Otherwise ask others to download it from within your network. See if they experience the same. And check your firewall and virus/malware scanners. Not suggesting that it contains bad things, but your scanners might flag it as a false positive and simply block it.

Works for me but google maps does not want to import KML files only CSV or TSV files.

SCRATCH THAT I WAS USING GOOGLE MAPS NOT GOOGLE EARTH IT WORKS JUST FINE IN EARTH

Works in maps too but you have to choose the "use classic interface" link (or similar) hopefully they will put THEIR OWN BLOODY KML FORMAT into the new "gee wiz" interface before they pull the plug on the old one for good....

Oh, and the trouble I was having was due to a false positive from my antivirus software. It thought the exe was infected, which it is not.
