Snake eats crocodile after battle

A snake has won a lengthy battle with a crocodile in northern Queensland, wrestling it, constricting it and then finally eating it.

The incident at Lake Moondarra, near Mount Isa, was captured on camera by local residents on Sunday.

The 10-ft snake, thought to be a python, coiled itself around the crocodile and the two struggled in the water.

The snake later brought the dead crocodile onto land and ate it.

The last python I saw trying that sort of dinner had its belly bursting open.

Crocodiles aren't bad... after tenderizing and swallowed whole.

The baddest animal in the wild is a Crocagator. Crocadile head on one end and an Alligator head on the other.:yep:

Been a problem of some considerable importance in the Everglades too. The invasive species eats every thing including alligators and is destroying a pristine ecosystem. http://science.time.com/2012/01/31/invaders-how-burmese-pythons-are-devouring-the-everglades/ A little snake on gator action! http://timeecocentric.files.wordpres...0&h=240&crop=1
