Ace's Campaign
 

SH2, of course...

I'm having some issues getting Ace's Campaign Mission #8 (Summer 1941) to load. Has anybody else had a similar issue? I click on start and a black screen is all I get. It doesn't actually crash.
I have PM 103 and the various oil slick, fireball mods installed. Perhaps I'm missing a key ingredient/mod? Ran fine up until Mission 8. Opened-up the campaign mission file, but the syntax all seems to be in order. The scenario file is only 7kb next to some of the others which are a bit larger...11kb +

Any clues are greatly appreciated. Yes, yes...old game...lol. Still fun...

I happen to remember there was a typo or minor thing that caused it, but IIRC I fixed that on a patch. Sadly those files were lost in a HDD crash some time ago, I should have a backup on a DVD ... somewhere :/\\!!

I know that 'HD crash feeling', lol. I figured it was a small typo error somewhere. I copy-pasted a previous mission using #8's date and skipped it. I have SH 3, 4 and 5 due to arrive...so bear with my numerous questions over the next while.

IIRC there was a 1.1 version of the campaign, look for it as it should be fixed.
