Hello, anyone there?

Not much to say about myself. Been simming since floppy disks were commonplace and Doom was actually a frightening game. i picked up the bundle from steam the other day to rekindle my old love of sub/naval sims.

My only problem so far is finding people to play with and talk to. I have clicked on a multitude of link on this forum and haven't really gotten anywhere since most of the links are dead. If anyone could throw me a line I surely would appreciate it! Thanks and best regards.

Thanks for the welcoming, good to see the sub sim community is still alive and swimming! I just purchased the silent hunter series off of Steam (God bless them...) and I'm checking it out. Been playing with SH4 and it's pretty darn impressive I must say.

I was wondering, is there a teamspeak listing for the community? As much as I'd love to type, forums are hardly my preferred means of communication these days.

I also found this wonderful program for networking, and it appears there are quite a few folks who are using it to play silent Hunter series from what I can tell. The name is Evolve, and it's similar to himachi but IMHO it's much better. Very simple to use/understand, incredibly vast (in respect to games supported), and in so much as I can tell there is no invasive measures used by the program what-so-ever.

I've seen so far about three pages worth of folks playing SH4 so it might be worth a few minutes to check it out.
