is there anyone out there that wants to get together and harass the japs alittle? i have SHIV version 1.4 with only a few minor mods (cant afford to update to 1.5 but want too badly!) i have JSGME and know how to use it, and im open to downloading new things so that way i can connect or play, so send me a pm if your up to join me! it would also be nice to be able to use teamspeak or something while we did this..

I would enjoy using the programs multi-player function. Co-op or hunting each other would be awefuly fascinating but I have 1.5 and how ever you play you both need to be running the same mods or at least make sure the mods you do have will not interfere with the multi-player functionality of the program.

oh yea, i know that we have to be using the same...well everything, but i found a download to update to sh1.5 im just not 100% on it...it was such a tiny download and all...

There are some great mods that if you ever wish to play you can not play without 1.5. I would get it for the mods alone.

cool, works for me! i guess ill install the 1.5 update i found and see what it does...i found it here on subsim so..

i tried to update to 1.5 but it wouldn't let me, it apparently isn't smart enough to know what version im using and its just 1.4..i wouldn't mind getting some advice on this, its just the update found here on the site, not the wolves of the pacific addon...(too bad though, i really like the U-boats

The U-Boat add on IS the update. You have to buy it in order to update SH4 to 1.5

i just upgraded to 1.5 tonight..it works great but somehow after a single download i reached my "download limit" but its been several days since my last download...fail

I can not remember how subsim calculates allowable downloads. Some days I might get one and other days I can get three or four.

When I do get the downloads I try to keep them all in one folder in zipped form if that is the way they came. This way I always have the original copy in case there is a situation of corrupt file or reloads due to some miss match and over write errors when adding other mods.

This way you only have to download what you want once.

im still game to sink some subs, i just got 3 new mods and am playing now. send me a pm or message back here, i have sh4 1.5 and jsgme so i can easily remove my mods, these are what i am currently enjoying
