Game load with snorkel depth

Hi!
When I load the game the level indicatior icon on the left shows that I am at snorkel depth. But I am on the surface and the depth is correct too.
I use imperial measurements.
Maybe that is the problem?!?

You may well have answered your own question.
Change to metric and see if it still does it.
