Uranium from amazon
Well you can buy uranium ore from amazon, who knew. With a centrifuge I think we can finally power the subsim nuclear submarine:k_rofl:

From one of the bad reviews:
"Great Product, Poor Packaging I purchased this product 4.47 Billion Years ago and when I opened it today, it was half empty." :rotfl2: |

It probably is, and no you would not be able to make an atomic bomb out of the stuff (or even a dirty one for that matter), at least not with out many tons of the stuff, plus processing, breeding/enrichment, etc.. It's about the equivalent of what one use to get in science kits for kids in the 50s. Not especially dangerous/energetic. This stuff is being sold for Geiger counter testing (that's why they include the cpm count on the tin).

I had several uranium minerals in my balcony for several years and never give a thought about it. My father is a geologist and was a professor in the university, so rock and minerals in my home is almost like to kick a package and out comes some mineral or rock (any form, any type). So, a few uranium minerals were left forgotten in a vase in one of the balconies. :sunny:
I should had sold then to some one, at least it would had rendered something, instead of going rotten and to the trash! |
Another dead thread springs back, full moon tonight? :hmmm:

I thought this was an old topic. I'm just really curious about what the necro'er searched to find this.
