making extra installs
 

When making extra installs the original needs to be patched to 1.4 correct? so as copies will be patched to 1.4, I wanted to make a copy and use it for 1.5 later question is will I be able to patch just the copy to 1.5 and how would I do it.
Also if I understand correctly short cuts for the renamed copies are to be done from "exe" could you please explain how this is done I am totally lost on this one, thank you.

I hope I understand what you are trying to do, sounds like running different installs of SH4.
