North Carolina Bridge Camera
 

Hi averybody,
I am getting crazy looking over hundreds and hundreds of posts but I cannot find the answer I am looking for...
I am playing SH4 with North Carolina mod and, although I managed to modify at my pleasure guns range, accuracy, vessel max range, sensors range and so on...there is one thing I cannot manage to modify: Bridge Camera Position.
I understood that there is something to change in Cam file using 3ditor, but really I cannot understand what value to modify.
I would really appreciate some tips...

I also tried the Cleveland mod and is perfect, except for the Bridge Camera standing just above range finders (don't think WW2 captains would enjoy giving orders sitting on a range finder!)

Managed by myself...brought the camera on top of the vessel command bridge... It's the .dat file to be modified, not the .cam!!

Glad you worked it out. Often we have to do that with such challenges. congrats and share some pics if you have time would enjoy seeing it.

An old post but a goodie. I have the USA_Iowa and would like to move the bridge camera into the actual command bridge part of the ship. It is currently at the highest point where the dummy deck watch are located.

Any idea which part in the .dat file to change?

Take the Dummy_Deck_Watch_NSS_Gato_Tower04 node and use the Node Positioning Translation boxes to define the X,Y, and Z coordinates.
