boomarked and...lost

I'm an Opera user and occasionally my browser deletes my bookmarks. Yes. From top to bottom. Oh...not really. I can always find deleted bookmarks untouched. Doesn't really bother me atm as I export the bookmarks on regular basis so that I won't lose everything.

A few months ago I found a great page with lots of German propaganda stuff like: Hitler speeches, German marches, films, contemporary books etc. I bookmarked it but it was lost around December.
Does anyone recall such a site?
A very simple page, probably only the index page without any sub-sites. Marches, songs, films on the top, military books near the bottom.
The site's name was pretty simple too.

And ideas?

That's one hell of a big ask...could be one of countless sites on the www :o

I could certainly PM you links to German music of the period/era.

well, I spent the last two days doing it without much result.

That's an odd problem, maybe starting Opera without admin rights helps? Never had those troubles myself, but I still stick to 12.16.

Regarding the question: I don't have the specific site bookmarked, but you might find it looking through the forums of feldgrau or axishistory.

A general good site is archive.org, searching through it can be a pita sometimes. However as most of the stuff you're looking for is public domain this would be my first site to check out.

Thanks Penguin.
Dunno, it happens once a year without any warning or something.

The problem with the page I'm looking for is that 'some' would classify it as 'pro-Nazi stuff' plus it contains quite a few 'semi-legal' pdfs :)

Bear in mind - I didn't ask for the link :D

^Can these difficulties be due to alcohol? :hmmm:

:har:

nope, I tried to delete them while being sober and spent 10 minutes figuring out how to do it. Misclicks etc couldn't have been the issue.

Most understanding of you....considering the question.

Kranz, could have drank a beer, and a mistake has been made :D

Jimbuna 01-16-14 04:57 PM

So you lost a page of looser nazi stuff. Doesn't sound like a great loss to me.

not 'stormfront-like' nazi, just nazi. Speeches, Triumph of the Will, music etc.
Useful stuff (pdfs)if someone is interested in nazi-stuff and military stuff.
Not a great loss but a loss.
But you still have a chance to post Indiana.
