UK workers could be spitting chips...

I understood drug, alcohol, and DNA but wasn't aware that stress levels could be detected from your spit. The privacy questions are going to be significant if this sort of testing is to become commonplace.

Sorry boss. I'm too stressed out to spit.:wah:

What inane idea can they come up with next to make the working man's plight more miserable?

Anything to make a buck I suppose.

A great idea....provided cost doesn't make it prohibitive.

Shorter hours more pay for a start. Everyone I know are working up to and pass 50 hours a week to survive and one of them had a breakdown.

The big weakness of NMW....employers know that is all they have to pay now.

Or so fear jim, speaking to a mate of mind and his boss told him do the extra hours or there is the door. Granted this is not new but in the times we are in employers know that is one heck of a weapon in their arsenal.
